241C Transfer Case Vibration WEIRD???
I would almost wonder if he might have a bad transmission mount or motor mount I know when the AC is on it puts a big load on the engine and with its cycling on and off on the clutch of the AC pump I would think that would have to be a mount problem unless you have a pulley up front that is...- funnyfarm

Towing with a 4l60e
We own almost the same vehicle I have a 1995 Suburban 373 gears 5.7 TBI I had to rebuild my 4l60 I did use it for Towing after rebuild a change the way I tow I would take it out of overdrive and just run in third gear I had no problems also if you have time I would slap a transmission cooler on... -

Good information but one thing I would totally recommend I've done on all my transmissions on all our vehicles especially the Chevys because I've had to rebuild a couple of the 4l60E install a huge transmission cooler 1995 and older have a smaller cooler line going to the radiator 96 and newer... -

Having issues at idleing
Has the check engine light come on if so see if there is a throttle positioning sensor or a manifold air pressure or your mass air flow sensor causing that. More than likely it is your IAC sensor. Now if you have no check engine light on and no codes I would then start looking towards...- funnyfarm
