I feel like P0236 could be a short on the MAP, but I cannot get my scanner to output MAP readings, and I don't want to trace the harness until I figure out how to see what the computer is reading.- toadfist

1996 C1500 6.5 Turbo Intermittent power loss Stumped
So my crappy boost gauge shows max I'm getting is 8, but that gauge also shows -2 when idle. I was having power loss before I turned the boost up. Gauge was 6 max before. I cannot for the life of my figure out how to read the MAP Sensor pressure through ODBLink MX+ with torque pro. So I have...- toadfist

1996 C1500 6.5 Turbo Intermittent power loss Stumped
I'm stumped again... Well I guess more specifically I'm hoping I missed something before I drop the fuel tank to check the filter sock... I have a 1996 Chevy C1500 with a 6.5 turbo diesel and 4L80e trans. Mileage is 140k, assuming it wasn't rolled back. Mods work done, it's been running fine...- toadfist

1996 6.5 Turbo Diesel Electrical Gremlin has me stumped
The batteries are wired in parallel. I have a bus bar on each side of the bay for positive. Both batteries positives connect to the bus bar on its respective side. 2awg connects both bus bars running over the fan shroud. I get 12.9v probing strait to the battery terminals on both batteries...- toadfist
