What size tire with leveling kit?

Get longer shocks... Other than that I think you should be good to go.

What size tire with leveling kit?

The 285's will be beefier and look a bit better IMO.

6" RCX lift pics and tips ??

From the way I understand it, the Black Bear tune is pretty much the golden goose egg of tunes when it comes to our trucks. If I could do the gearing thing over again and had a year that could use the BB tune (I have a '93), 4.10's + BB tune is the route that I would go.

    Max crank, only gained 1''

1 ton bars would make a 1/2 ton ride pretty rough anyways...that much cranking certainly didn't help things tho

    Max crank, only gained 1''

I'm not trying to start a pissing match man... I'm just giving my own experience. My truck came level from the factory, or at least it was when I got it.... And, when I got it and prior to my cranking, my CV's were flat and no rear block. When I cranked/blocked, I got about 2" but my driver bolt...

6" RCX lift pics and tips ??

I started out with 3.42's and 265's and did ~1900 rpm's at 70 mph. Then got 285's with the same gearing and rpm's didn't change much. Once I went to 315 BFG A/T's (really small and light "35"" tire) is when I really noticed a difference (like, ~1700 rpm's at 70 mph) and decided to regear. The...

6" RCX lift pics and tips ??

^^^ Yea that's true too.... I run 4.88's with 35" Toyo M/T's. While it's not ideal on the highway, it seems to do just fine.... and I get pretty decent mileage around town when I baby it (15 mpg-16 mpg). Right now, I'm doing ~2000 rpm's at 55 mph and ~2400 rpm's at 70 mph.

    Max crank, only gained 1''

Well, I don't know about the guy from Rough Country, but I've had keys on my bars for 2 years... haven't had any further issues with sag and the ride is just fine

6" RCX lift pics and tips ??

Well, you could do a 4.10 with a Black Bear tune... It's what I would do if I had the option. There is a gear of 4.27 but I don't know if anybody makes that ratio for our trucks. And as far as websites go, there's a bunch.... 4wheelparts, summit racing, 4wheelonline, etc.... even Ebay or Amazon...

Yeah it just means your bars are really fatigued. You can either get new bars or get re-indexed "lift" keys. A lot of folks on here shame new keys for our OBS trucks but when your bars are that fatigued, that's when they worth it. Hell, I have keys on my truck just to get my bolts back close to...

    Tie-Rod Blues....

Try a local 4x4 shop if you haven't already... They may have a little more insight than your usual alignment shop. I'm just spit-balling ideas to see what sticks though.

6" RCX lift pics and tips ??

Either 4.10 or 4.56 will be fine... 4.56 will be a little more fun though. Look for a 6-lug, semi-float 14 bolt for peace of mind with 35's if you don't already have one. 10 bolt's are notorious weak links. Also, there are better options out there than Auburn... I reckon you can't beat free...

    Tie-Rod Blues....

Heard of it..? Yes. Actually seen it...? No. There's a lot of here-say with this mod from what I've been able to tell. I do know that Heim joints don't like mud though and TRE's are just fine for, oh let's say, 99% of folks that don't wheel the piss out of their rigs every weekend. Good luck...

    Whats the Difference?

OffRoadDesign shackle flip and zero-rate AAL... call it done.

That really depends on how old and fatigued your torsion bars are.... There isn't any real answer. For example, when I had mine cranked prior to my lift, my passenger side took 3 full turns and my driver side took just under 7 turns. Weird huh...

You won't get immediate lift after cranking though. You'll have to drive around for a little bit to get the torsion bars to settle to their new height. Be careful not to crank up to more than around ~2" over stock... You'll kill your front end if you do. You'll be fine otherwise. If you don't...

All those leveling or 2.5" kits do is relocate your shocks, give you re-indexed keys to crank your torsion bars, and some sort of block or AAL to level the rear. They're a marketing gimmick. All you need to do that for free is to crank your stock bars to 1.5"-2" (this is safe), get an alignment...

You can run 33x12.50's on a stock truck. My buddy has 305x75x16's (33x12.50) Maxxis Big Horns on 16x10 Mickey Thompson classic II's with no issues. If you want to be sure about clearance though, you can do a 2" or 3" BL (cheap), crank the torsion bars (free, but don't crank too far or you'll...

    Offset/wheel

They'll work just fine although that is a really wide wheel for a 31x10.50 IMO

3/4 ton lift kit on 1/2 ton?

Maybe this is just on NBS, but I think 3/4 ton (K2500) keys are actually indexed in a way that they'll actually lower our 1/2 tons (K1500). So if you have "lift" keys for a K2500, then they're probably no different than the stock keys that you have now. Either way, you don't really need...

Superlift or Tuff Country 6 inch 8 lug lift ( Sticky need your help!!)

I would've done their shackle flip/zero-rate AAL a long time ago if i didn't already have these replacement springs. Now I'm just going to get some longer shackles to lower the rear a bit and call it good. Good luck with everything though man and congrats on the new mods!! Be sure to keep us...

RCX VS. Zone Offroad Suspension lift?

Personally, I think it gives the truck a tougher looking stance to have a little crank on it and a little angle in the lower arms. I have a little crank in my Pro Comp 6" and really can't tell a difference in the ride quality. I do have MX-6 adjustable shocks set on the softest setting though...

    Max tire size

Well, stock H1 beadlock wheels are 16.5x9 with a 7" backspacing I believe. You'll probably want a little less backspacing than that though so you have a wider stance. You can buy recentered H1's off the internet if you want to go that route or just get some other 16.5" from somewhere else.
