I am planning on keeping this truck forever so all the parts are an investment in the future. 249950 miles and runs like the day I bought it.
:welcome: I'm keeping my 88 too, my son will get it when my fuel pump goes out :rolleyes: Sorry about the previous remark, I just couldn't help it. I see you're in AZ. where abouts is that?

For what it's worth, I'm hoping that you kept the used parts, for if they didn't solve the
problem, then it's a pretty safe bet that they can be used as part of your troubleshooting
toolkit down the road. (!)
^^^ This plus, odds are they're better quality than your replacements. :33:

Not knowing previous maintenance history I'd say at almost 250,000 miles it probably needed most of those parts you changed. Should be good to go for a while now. Like Road Trip mentioned you may want to keep some of those parts you took off and you may want to put the factory ICM back in.
