Don't know if this has already been posted in another thread, or if this the right section, but I'm trying to figure out if the 88-90 power window/locks bezel will swap on my 92 Blazer? The window switch bezel in Blazer is like a "shelf" with power mirrors and not "flush" to the door panel (See pics). I've been scouring junkyards and the Internet for a while and can't find any, other than the 4 window switch "shelf" for a Suburban and the earlier "flush" button setup. I figured if the earlier set up will swap easy enough I may as well just swap to that and go with manual side mirrors. Possible? Or do I need to practice more patience?

They used that Suburban-style switch panel so they'd have a place for the power mirror controls. If you're willing to give up power mirrors, you can use the pickup truck panel, sure; however your door trim panels are punched for the tabs that poke through on those larger switch panels - several rectangular holes. Not gonna be pretty just hanging out there.

The slots punched into the inner door panel (GM calls it a "door module") will of course have to correspond to the type of switch panels you have, and it's been too many years to recall if those are interchangeable in terms of having both patterns of holes punched out or if you'd need to swap the door module, too.

BTW 1990-1994 is the style you're thinking of that is the grayish bezel with the rounded-edge switches. 1988-1989 are different entirely with a black bezel that has rectangular switches in it, and the door panel is very different, too.

Don't bother. The '88-89 door panels suck. I keep having to reinstall bits on WCJr as they fall off. I'd love to swap it to the later style door panels, so I'm also interested in knowing if the doors are compatible.
When you say "later" if you mean 1990-1994 style, yes, the door shell is compatible with no issue.. but not 100% sure if the inner door panel (door module) has the holes punched for the tabs in the correct place. I don't recall if I've ever tried putting the 1990-1994 interior panels on a 1988-1989 door module.

The 1995-up interior panels fit the older doors but it helps if you hammer an indentation at the top of the skin where the interior handle goes, so that the door module fits a little better. As far as style, they don't match the rest of the interior at all, and look terrible mix/matched like that, IMO. But then again I'm no fan of the 1995-up interior.

Thank you Richard! The three posts you provided is what I was looking for, and yes I meant swapping to the pickup truck door module/bezel and going to manual mirrors. My big thumbs on a phone :)
