So long story short I blew a trans line because I forgot to change the c clip I put on line just to test it after putting trans in for the 3rd time…. Was about 20 miles from home. I got line back on and had my daughter with me and all my tools in my boxes without locks so decided to limp it home with the gallon of fluid I had. As soon a I got to the drive way it stopped moving. Put more fluid in and it still moves havnt moved it that far just a couple feet but r, d work so far. Fluid smells horrible but in the process of flushing fluid n change filter. What are the odds it’ll be okay any suggestions besides don’t use c clips instead of e clips.

I'd yank it for overhaul. One or more clutch packs are likely smoked and, with that much burnt clutch material and contaminent in the converter, it will fail in the very near future.
