Got the Gibson in and not happy with the kit. Problems out of the box. Summit won't deal with it. You have to go through Gibson for replacement or problems. Pipes welded in Muffler are so crooked I can't get the flange pipe in. FYI I'd be wary of ordering this kit. Gibson agreed at first to send me a muffler. Then the next day decided I could try a new flange pipe which is not the issue. Check the pics.

Link for the Jegs y pipe. I looked on the website and only seemed to find the dual outlet from the stock pipe. I have “duals” I guess because mine doesn’t go into a y. But follows the same bends. And then goes into a dual in muffler and single out. And I want to get rid of my cats.

Why not just go true dual pipes? It sounds great!
I feel like they sound a lot better with a crossover. On the 87 G20 it is a dual in/dual out muffler. On my 83 G20 it was a Dr Gas X-pipe long before all the generic X-pipes existed. On my 1997 Express and 99 Tahoe it was a dual in/single out muffler.
