I had been scouring the internet for service manuals, torque specs, and any helpful "skip that step and do it this way" kind of information back in 2012 (17 at the time) for my dad's 98 Silverado which was my first fuel injection job that wasn't a tractor. And of course, everything i needed was found here. I had always come back to it when searching for information. I finally joined in 2021 because I had recently picked up a 1990 C1500 with 292,000 on the clock for $700 that was owned small business to use as a beater for things around the house (dump runs, i need some lumber, dammit another friend is moving kind of errands) and had to chase what an employee who "knows how to fix stuff" had done, example: JB Weld the O2 sensor bung closed. I must say, this site never fails me. Whether its someone who has an answer to a one off issue, or reminding me that sometimes I'm dumber than I think and the answer is right in front of me.
Kinda how I've been here for years and just found an Introduction section
