Old floor jack no longer holds. Time for a new one.

have you tried asking it to comply nicely?

(with a BFH)
I had that problem with Rawhide, couldn't get the right front wheel off once I had all the nuts off. The NTB tire guys didn't have any trouble with it though, but they have air powered impact guns and bigger hammers, swung by younger arms.
If I get a day off without rain, I'll get back on the brake caliper pins lube and cleaning project. Then I'll get to find out if I can get the wheel off this time....

Given that the LF wheel is thoroughly stuck, I'm guessing one or more of the others may be stuck as well. Since we're going to be on the road Monday bright and early, and have a lot to do before we leave, I may just call Jim's shop this morning and see if they can squeeze me in to pull all four wheels and put a bit of antisieze on the hubs.

the nice part of steel wheels is once you clean up the rust its very obvious where the "high points" that they rust to the hubs on, and just a little bit there (only need to do one side, too!) and voila it shouldnt be an issue to come off again

And, just like that, it's done. Jim comes through again.

In the future you could try heating it with a torch. A little delicate application of heat to the hub/wheel mating surface and the tire pops right off. It takes about thirty seconds per tire. I do it every spring when it's time to pull the winters off.

Y'all may remember I had this issue with the crew cab right front wheel on Christmas break last year. In February this year, when I had to get new front tires on it, the big burly young men at NTB had little issue getting the wheel off. Big guys with big hammers they can swing hard....
