sitting in my local yard, wiring harness not intact, they want $100 for the buckets $50 apieceDisclaimer: Links on this page pointing to Amazon, eBay and other sites may include affiliate code. If you click them and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission.
I'm ready to barf about the possible good (or at least core) engine sitting there collecting rainwater and any debris that might fall down the intake. The difference between a scrap yard and a treasure yard.Seats , headlights, barf?
Grille is usable, maybe not perfect, and the front bumper looks decent too. Quad beams are cool, but "I" would try to get them cheaper if possible. If they have 4 undamaged Guide bulbs AND ALL the buckets and adjusters are good, be worth a Benjamin to someone who wants them. Pigtails for sealed beams are still available and wiring harness can be made or modified.Once upon a time that was a cool truck. Looks like those headlight buckets will be sitting a long time. Damn shame about that engine, I see that all the time in yards.
Engine has a hole in the side of the block, they pulled the transmission out, I've known the owners of the place for over 40 years, heck I remember walking in as a kid and couldn't see over the counter lolI'm ready to barf about the possible good (or at least core) engine sitting there collecting rainwater and any debris that might fall down the intake. Those lights are worth that much?? I hate them on my '88, I was looking at some single lights at one point but didn't want to change out the core support. Now that the core support is back in after the engine/trans swap, I'm looking at the composite lights!Grille is usable, maybe not perfect, and the front bumper looks decent too. To someone who wants them and can't find any in their area, yes they are. When a truck comes in the yards I go in, it'll cost me probably $60-75( or more just to get them, plus whatever time it takes me to clean them up and repair them (the set I have for sale with the Guide sealed beams in it, took a good bit of cleaning and fixing to get it to a salable condition)Those lights are worth that much??
