I need to replace all the broken ground straps on my truck. Would be easier if there was a kit that had the correct sized terminals and lengths. Its a 1999 Chevy 3500 5.7L V8 Gas Automatic Transmission 4L80-E.

You can by premade cables at an auto parts store, you can make your own cables or, one of the members here sells the "big three kit" he would most likely be able to supply you with what you need.

I don't think that's what the OP is asking about, but rather the un-insulated ground straps that are scatted around the truck.

OP, you're not likely to find a kit. You'll probably have to figure out what you need yourself, and order parts individually, unless maybe LMC sells something.

Have to filter the model on the left to fine tune the results but it looks pretty good...Dang...spensive

this guy goes through various grounds it looks like...has part numbers in description too... would take some sleuthing to find out diy specs...ring sizes etc....but would be a neat bit of info to have here.....

Insulated wire will last longer than an uninsulated strap in a corrosion rich environment. GM offers multiple replacement straps in varying dimensions and lengths. I replaced the ground strap from the engine to the floor on the 87 G20 with a massive AC Delco strap because it was flat and easier to route. I replaced the battery ground from the melted 10 awg wire it had to a 2 awg cable. Stole the idea from the factory 2 awg block to frame ground on my 97 Express.

This is what my 87 has for grounding.

A roll of wire, a universal pack of terminals and a wire stripper/crimper is cheap.

Otherwise if you want a better battery ground, farm supply stores have super heavy gauge pre-made battery cables for half the price of parts stores.

I’ve never seen a kit, and even if there was one, I’d still use these guys. All are hand made in USA and are super cheap. You can even upgrade the strap gauge sizes.
