1998 k2500 - months with this door replacing all latches, handles and such. Window rods up and down fine but got into trouble when I took off the 10mm bolt securing the bottom of the forward rail, thinking it was just one that held the metal door panel on but it attaches the bottom of the rail instead. That is back in place and the top and bottom of the rail are secure now but the window still wants to tilt forward when I try to raise it from the bottom going up. Power windows. Any thoughts why it’s still tiltiing Forward? Really hate this door.

Did you get wheel back in track? Look at the diagram on doors in the body section. Both lift arms in tracks that raise the window equally.

One wheel popped out, I was so done I had to close it up and walk away yesterday. Do you prop up the window with a 2X4 when you want to work on this? I always seem to end up holding the window up and needing a third (or fourth) hand.

Prop it up with a 2x4? If it helps, sure. I usually have the window in the down position and work the door module (the inner sheetmetal panel) into the shell while guiding the regulator rollers into the window channel.

There's one end of the channel that has a tab which is bent upwards to prevent the roller from running past.. did you at any point bend that out of place and forget to push it back? I'd be careful with it as you don't want to bend it too many times as it could break off.

You can use some masking tape or duct tape over the top of the door to hold the glass up. I used a small wood wedge on the inside while replacing the motor and regulator. When I lift the widow up the wedge would loosen then as window came down it would wedge and stop. That worked for me. If your lucky have a helper.
My boys are out of the house, I'd rather stab a screwdriver in eye than ask my wife for mechanical help. Improvise, adapt, overcome .

You left the wheel off the track , and then asked why the window glass is cockeyed?
