Plus, truth be told, my bumper is pretty clean already. Here it is as it sits right now. The new impact strip is actually on the way from LMC. I have everything else. I went ahead and took off the bumper and stripped her down and buffed it out while repairing the grill tab.

OK. My new front impact strip showed up and this is what I came home to yesterday. No box, nowhere. That didn’t leave LMC like that! Thankfully, LMC is a great company and is immediately replacing it. In the words of the LMC rep, “Sounds like you got Fedexed. We’ll take it up with them.”

As I mentioned in another post, FedEx once shipped me an empty box. :3811797817_8d685371

I was worried when I ordered my DashSkin about how the delivery go. Thankfully it was UPS and they didn’t destroy it.

My FedEx stuff is always so mangled. I wish my front bumper was that clean!

I once ordered a set of rotors from Dallas (I’m in Oklahoma) so a pretty straight shot. For whatever reason it went to Utah, Virginia, Kentucky, back to Dallas. Then finally showed up. Two weeks later and missing one rotor. Like all four boxes taped together with the outer one open and missing a whole rotor. No idea happened but that was probably the worst experience with FedEx

My one experience recently with FedEx was great. I shipped @Orpedcrow the cluster he bought from me last summer; he had in 24 hours and the box and contents were fine and undamaged. Now anyone who's bought something from me knows how I build and pack my goods and boxes, so I expected good results. He wanted me to use them because the postal service in his area is not good. Everything else I've shipped through USPS, and have had excellent service. On two cases it wasn't, but that was a problem with the letter carrier on the customer's end.
I'm hoping to use FedEx again for shipping some parts, once I get the boxes built. But they're still without power since the hurricane.....

All the carriers have turned to a sad crapshoot. My local Post Office often lets mail sit for a week before they move it. I've been hit with late fees on bills because of them.

FedEx has done the 50 states tour with some of my packages before.

Amazon's pretty good with shipping, but steer clear of their trucks on the road! They DGAF.

I had a rotary engine shipping on a pallet once, and when DHL delivered it to my driveway, it was rolling around in the back of a van.

Front end cosmetic rehab completed!

New: Valence, Impact Strip, License Plate Bracket, Turn Signal Bulbs, and Turn Signal Lenses.

Repainted Tow Hooks and Bumper Brackets/Front End

Also replaced the UGA Dad front plate with a Z71 Plate. He graduated, so I guess I’m not technically a student dad anymore. There’s plenty of other UGA paraphernalia on the truck to identify the G Wagon.
