93 C1500 Wipers not working

My windshield wipers have stopped working. Sometimes (not always) if you turn the wiper switch they will move about half of a swipe and freeze, but they usually won't even do that. I replaced the wiper motor, nothing. The fuse is good. I do not hear any buzzing like some others have stated. My washer fluid still works. I'm assuming its the switch but any help at all is greatly appreciated.

It's a well known issue with the control board for them. I believe it's some cold solder joints that break, usually an easy fix. Been a while since I read up on it.

The new wiper motor I put on had a new pulse board in it. When i tried the wipers after installing it they moved a couple inches and stopped just like before.

believe it or not, I had an issue on my 1993 wipers intermittently stopping/starting or not working at all. I thought for sure the stalk was bad.

But I had found that after a motor swap, I had not attached the headlight harness ground on the radiator support. Once I reattached that ground all was good again.

check your grounds on the engine bay harness.

Also check for binding in the linkage.
