I would prefer the Detroit Trutrac, but I went with the Yukon posi because East Coast Gear sells them for half the price. So which LSD should I buy? A couple of the pieces stuck to the magnet on my 14SF.

I was going to do axle seals today but I’m just going to put my new cover and gasket on. The seal on the driver side is weeping but not terribly. Passenger side is dry. Axle shafts have minimal lateral movement. I guess over the winter I’ll install a new carrier.
I’ve heard good things about both. I’ll have to do some research into them but… yeah the Yukon is definitely more affordable. I do not plan on abusing my truck with burnouts or donuts. This will unfortunately be a job that I have to farm out over the winter.I would prefer the Detroit Trutrac, but I went with the Yukon posi because East Coast Gear sells them for half the price.
You didn't really see anything in there. Just sludge build up.I am questioning if I should drive this anymore now that I know this damage is present.
