Hello,

I am quite new here. I have loved OBS' since I was a child. Always looked at this forum for years, but never committed to an account. I have a 1995 Ext. Cab that I am looking to put the body moldings back on. The stock moldings were taken off a few months ago due to wear and fading and after it was finished, I decided I wanted to get that classic stock look back on the truck. I have ordered some pre-cut moldings, but I am trying to get some tips on how to go about putting them back on. I want to make sure it is as close to factory as I can possibly get and that they are straight and level as possible. I now wish I would've left the sticky gum adhesive left by the factory moldings when taken off to give me a guide, but it is far too late for that. LOL

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank y'all!

I'm guessing you'll need to find a similar truck and take some very accurate measurements. I ran tape above mine when I removed them and also did it one at a time so as to use the old ones to help line the new one up. Good luck!
