Are you sure that isn't a tune related problem? Does it idle fine? Also if the O2 sensors aren't working you would see them be flatlined at 450mv

The van 411 tune doesn't pivot at 450mv. That's something you need to change yourself in the tune.

Well my point was if the O2 sensor just stays at a single mV the obviously they're aren't working. Mine was 450mv. So if his mv isn't moving even at operating temperature them something is wrong

Appreciating the feedback guys,
So far I've found the distributor that i install had a clamp that didn't allow for adjustment and was out of time too much to run. Removed and replaced hold down clamp with original that allows adjustment. It now starts and runs. In my research I found that due to my truck being a 9600 gvw 3500 the O2 sensors are not the same as the half and 3/4 tons. Have a set of 02s ordered and will hopefully be able to proceed with tuning Wednesday. Installed my wideband and was atleast able to run truck up to operating temp and verified mechanically everything is doing great. Im sure I'll have more questions once i get into adjusting parameters. Theres not an adx file i can find for the OS im using, any recommendations on logging software compatible with my OBDX pro?

I know this is a bit of a no brainier and you can use scan tools and Yada yada yada but usually what I do when I don't own a 10K scanner that can read cam/crank correlation is I set the engine to TDC compression and I align the arrow on the distributor housing with the striker on the rotor and button it back up. Ever since I learned this I never experienced the legendary P1345 and just recently I was working on a 97 K1500 with a 5.0 vortec that had a check engine light with a P1345 and I used this trick and the code went away. Im not sure how off the arrow can be before it trips the CEL light, We all know its around +-4° but we're talking visually.

Also as you mentioned above you wont be able to turn the distributor with the stock distributor hold down cause its designed for the dizzy to be locked in one spot.

Another thing to is if the timing chain is stretched or if it jumped a tooth you will more than likely have the p1345 until the chain is replaced. im guessing

I know I kinda dragged that on forever but instead of dropping the distributor in and praying that its in the right spot and fighting to start the engine I thought id throw that out there to save someone the frustration I once went through.

if your talking about logging with tuner pro you can go head and erase that idea from your head LMAO, Ive never had luck with live tuning with tuner pro, and or trying to find an adx file. there is also a lot more you need to set up in tuner pro to get it to actually send and receive data. something like that all I remember was it was extremely complicated, usually I use PCM logger followed with Megalogviewer. PCM logger is free but megalogviewer is 50$ and its yours forever. I use PCM logger then get the CVS file and import it in megalogviewer for histograms.

Thats exactly what I did for my distributor! Removed it, pulled the non adjustable hold down and reinstalled inline with plug 1 using original hold down. I still need to verify I'm getting good O2 sensor data and found aI had a blown fuse to MAF sensor once it was able to run a bit. I went ahead and ordered an HPTuner but if you've used Tuner Pro, do you know where the DESIRED AFR table is located. I see a VE Table and a one cell pop up to enter the stoichiometric but no table for STFT to base off of. Is there one? I was hoping to make some progress before HPTuner arrives.

As for the timing chain comments, this is a new build which dictated the retune. Mechanically everything seems great. just need the pcm issues worked out.

you can try to use CTRL + F to find desired idle air flow. I believe its under idle if you cant find it ill post pics
