First time on here, looked everywhere to find an answer and nothing worked. I have a 94 suburban c2500 rwd 5.7 and the compressor has locked. Someone mentioned to me could be bad expansion valve. Looked everywhere and couldn’t find it. Could someone lend an helping hand

Everyone always thinks it's the TX valve, it's almost never the TX valve. It's an inside joke amung refrigeration mechanics. If your TX is plugged with debris, your condenser is probably also plugged with debris.

If the compressor locked-up, you need a replacement compressor, PLUS all the associated work--replacement desiccant, orifice tube, EVERY O-ring in the system, maybe an expansion valve, maybe a condenser, maybe hoses, maybe evaporators...and any part you re-use MUST be flushed.

I'd add a filter at the inlet to the compressor.
