I have a 94 C2500 it has the 350 and the 8-lug I think it’s a Silverado trim but I’m not completely sure (it’s a restoration project) I have no idea which transmission is supposed to be in this truck.

You have definitely stumbled upon the best place for help.
As @yevgenievich said, it should be a 4L80E but you can check your glove box or perhaps elsewhere in the vehicle for RPO codes to determine exactly what came with the truck from the factory...The RPO code for the 4L80E transmission is MT1 while the 4L60E RPO code is M30.
RPO=Regular Production Option.
