Hello- New to the forum. I am buying a 2500 5.7/Manual/4x4/6 Lug truck in the morning. The truck is standard cab with an 8ft bed. I have only seen pictures and heard the history. The cab corners and wheel arches have rust; motor is supposedly a low mileage replacement; front end freshened up; rear end has been gone through; new accessories and clutch...

I own a full service repair shop in middle Georgia and fell in love with them after driving a 94 Cheyenne we're working on. The shop needed something to tow around the property and to tow all my projects down from Atlanta and this seems like a good choice to build and use. Been navigating around and reading stickies but welcome guidance and input.

Thanks- P

Welcome to the forum from Oregon.

Ran a few shops in my day and started out as a mechanic. Are you guys as busy and backed up as most shops around the country?

My avatar is my girls 5.7 700R4 six lug 1990 2500. Xcab 4x4. Pics of yours when you can.

The shops stays couple weeks behind for sure... We try to do it right and good techs with integrity are hard to find...

Will upload some pics but it's an ugly duckling at the moment....
