I’d also recommend you continue to browse the forum. There’s lots of experience and knowledge spread around here.

I have used the mevotech and have had really good luck with the parts. I used them on a lifted 96 truck with big tires and a dodge ram. They are very good quality and took a lot of abuse.

Original grade or the blue rubber ones?

In my 96 Chevy they were blue . That truck previously had parts from AutoZone that lasted 2 years and became unsafe. I'm going on 6 years with the mevo blue. I can feel a very tiny bit of wear now in the tie rod ends . My ram had green ones with a lift and they lasted 4 years and were in great shape when I sold my ram. I think the green was the best at the time.

I've always had good luck with energy suspension bushings. If you are wanting to lift the vehicle, it will cost more but I'd suggest going away from "kits" and go with fox shocks or king shocks and work with an offroad fabrication shop to convert the front to coilovers. You don't have to go full racing coilovers. There are some options that are less extreme. Shock mounts can be relatively easily made and when you purchase the shocks, have the company you source them from valve them for your truck and use. They will pair the right spring rates for you as well.

I do a fair bit of CAD design for a good friend of mine who does custom off road rigs. I will be converting my front suspension to coilovers but I'm not really lifting the truck. Perhaps when that time comes I can have the upper shock mounts made to order for those that want to have a nice weld on upper and lower shock mount for IFS and give some parts recommendations.

Have had luck buying NOS at swap meets / auto flea markets over the years.

Used to be years ago you could grease your front end at every oil change. Seems to be these days you have to do it atleast once a month for the aftermarket front end parts to last
