I am new here and I ve read a few topics about similar questions, but would like to have your opinion, I ve bought this 1995 GMC Sierra Dually that I want to install a drop kit, I ve looked DJM and Belthech but still did not figure it out. I am looking for something like 2/4" or something close. Does anyone have those kits installed on a similar truck? I intend to keep the original rims and tires 235x75x16. Will post a photo later on.

Welcome, 2/4 isn't much of a drop but if that's what you want.. easiest up front would be Belltech drop springs. The 3500 truck drop spindles are typically a 3" vs. the 2" on 1500's so I wouldn't recommend spindles if you just want 2" up front. 4" out back would be shackles and hangers and that's where you'll hate life because getting the rivets out of the factory hangers, and bolting in the new ones, sucks. Belltech has several hanger options but you'd want 2", with 2" shackles, they have a kit with both.
Unless you have a need to not drop it more, I'd advise against doing the 2/4 and go ahead with 5/8 which is:
Front: 2" drop springs + 3" drop spindles, rear: flip kit
Because once you've done all that work to hack the rivets out of the hangers and bolt the new ones in, finish the job and decide it isn't low enough, then you have to put the stock ones BACK in and hope you didn't mangle them getting the rivets out. The 8" flip kit depends on the other stock components being in place.

You can run stock size tires on a 5/7 drop. No peer pressure.
Yep unless I'm mistaken those are Alcoas, though I do believe there were copies of them as well.
And yes, 225/75/16's fit great on a 5/8 drop. Dunno about optional 235/75/16's that a lot of GMT400 dually guys are running tho.

Agreed. I hate seeing that kind of stuff stuck through the bedsides, but so many do it.

Question, how low can you go and keep the functionality of towing and hauling?
Depends on what you're hauling, and how you drop it. Spend a lot of effort on a monster notch and bags, you can still haul anything you could when it was at stock height. Obviously the notch is probably the biggest limiting factor; my setup which is just a flip kit and bolt in notch, definitely has less suspension travel before the axle smacks the notch.
