Turn signal turning on wipers

So I have a 98 k1500 and I’d say when I start the truck 6/10 times the left turn indicator on the dash is half lit and when I turn the left turn signal on the windshield wipers turn on and do maybe 10 passes then turn off the blinker also blinks very fast like the bulb is about to go out. I replaced the turn signal unit thinking that was the problem but it did not fix anything. Anyone had this problem.

Whats a turn signal unit, need to use actual terminolgy. That way we know exactly what part you guessed at. And can give an that might match your problem.
