OEM GM Brazil composite headlight assemblies for the GMT400 are now available.
Still produced in Brazil by OE manufacturer Arteb, these new, complete assemblies can be delivered to the US or elsewhere, shipped directly from Brazil.
The Arteb OE assembly is in effect the export composite headlamp for the GMT400 platform, akin to the GMT400 RPO T84 quad-light export option or the B-body RPO T84 export option.
See the contact information below for answers to availability, pricing, shipping or other questions. Certain details are also provided on the website.
Arteb's composite headlights have been discussed extensively on GMT400, e.g., threads...
Arteb's composite headlights are bolt-in replacements and IMHO are much better design than the OE Sylvania / Guide units on my 1998 Suburban. The headlight pattern is far superior, being "E-code" compliant. The attached .pdf document, written about the GM B-body's ’91-’96 "export headlamp" option RPO T85, explains the superiority of the light pattern. The explanation applies equally to the Arteb headlight when used on the GMT400 platform.
The reflector assemblies themselves have three air vents / vent tube assemblies to help shed heat and allow them to "breathe" with changes in pressure; these aren't even present on the Sylvania / Guide OE units of mine, nor on aftermarket TYC or APC units I've owned.

Acquiring Arteb Brazil GMT400 headlight reflectors
The Arteb headlight reflectors for the GMT400 models sold in Brazil (and perhaps Argentina?) have been discussed on WWW.GMT400 prior (search this site for "Arteb"). I've been working to acquire a set of these and it appears I'll have two pair coming my way later this month, one pair for my 1998...
