There was a thread awhile back about using this seal. Seemed like most we’re saying it wasn’t there or not needed. Anyone else ever replace? I bought some. Part #8-22514722

Those are the "O" rings that fit on the fuel lines. they "should" be changed every time that you replace the filter. I have never seen a truck that did not have them. I usually buy them in 20 packs do to the fact that I misplace them alot.

Yes, apparently not all of us use them. I don’t always replace with every filter though.

Dorman sells a blister pack under their small parts yellow pack with the brown " fuel O rings" most parts stores. If that helps.

Oh I got some GM ones, was just thinking about them as I’m thinking about a lot of fuel related parts as I’m gearing up for Sender/Pump replacement.

Even though I didn’t always replace o-rings on either side of fuel filter I will be from now on. Seems like a 10 pack from RockAuto is cheapest.
