The 10 bolt took a dirt nap on me so I wanted to upgrade to something else. So I decided to get a 92 c4 corvette independent rear suspension for my 98. I figured I wanted a 6 inch drop instead of a 4. So I cut 2 1/2 inches out of the frame and moved the removed peice up and welded it to the frame. Then built gussets on the side and boxed the frame in with 3/8 steel.

1 1/4 shorter on both side. The wheel adapters will take up the rest of the room.
