Hi all. I started doing some work on my 95 and that morphed into an interior swap. At this point I believe I've lost what's left of my mind, but it's getting there. Pulled my stock 60/40 front seat, back seat and mounts and all other interior pieces. I purchased a seat set from a 2022 Sierra Denali (minus the console) and only then did I realize that the back seat install was a completely different setup vs. the 2019 and previous years. So.....I also got the rear half of the wrecked Denali cab and pulled a bunch of stuff off of it to make this work. Is there an easier way? Yes, yes there is...lol.
My progress so far is the addition of an 1/8 inch plate across the back window opening for the top seat back mount, the seat back mount itself welded in and the bottom of the seat back mounts to include the center seat belt mounting bracket. I got the seat back hung temporarily to verify positioning and its good. Next will be the bottom mount piece I removed from the old cab. This will take a bit more fitting. The front seats will be a direct bolt in with mounts from OBS Outpost. Then I will tackle seat electronics as both front and rear have the heat option. I could have avoided a lot of this work by going with earlier seats, but what would be the fun of that?
