Bondo? Auto filler?

Thanks for all your help and explaining how much welding I would need. I’m going to get a new door. I found one local for $100 with glass. I’m planning on getting two new doors because I’m assuming both are the same.

The keyhole was broken into many times as my father lived in a bad area. The doors don’t lock. An after-market alarm was added but it drained too much battery so I had it removed it. I thought adding locks would be an easy fix. I hope to find someone to weld a new bolt hole (is this the right...

Bondo? Auto filler?

I recently started restoring my late father’s 94 gmc 1500. I’m replacing locks and door handles. I wanted to fill in the holes and reinforce the bolt holes. What kind of filler or bondo is best for this? Any advice/suggestions are appreciated!

Over heating.. I’m stumped!

Truck home finally! They put a higher temp thermostat in 190. I guess factory is 160. It'll take longer to warm up. Cleared some buildup in carberatuer and lowered idle. I guess messing with air/gas flow and pcv valve tweaks with new thermostat was most of it. I didn't let it warm up long...

ive replaced the thermostat and water heater. I'm not sure about fan shrouds. I'm planning on testing the temperature around the radiator.

Recently started to restore my late father’s 1994 GMC 1500 5.0L 305 TBI. Had a battery draining issue with aftermarket alarm system. Had that removed starts up flawlessly. Replaced all leaks as follows- water pump, thermostat, temperature sensor, radiator flush and all hoses replaced, manifold...
