Revisiting this conversation, these are 2012 5.3 rockers, this bearing end cap is the same as the earlier pieces, which can and will fall out and spill the needles.
Prime example of why its imperative to chase the head bolt holes and blow them out with compressed air when replacing heads / gaskets / head bolts on an LS.
Exhibit A.) Someone replaced just the passenger side head, ram rodded the head bolts into coolant filled holes. Boom! Cracked liner on #4...
