Let me tell ya'll a story.... it's a good one. How it cost me $135 to obtain 6 studs that retain the coil / engine beautification covers to an LS1/LS6. Trying to stay ahead of the LS engines this time, with pre-cleaned and detailed tin wear! Two sets of Gen 3 valve covers, one set of Gen 4 valve covers. Revisiting this conversation, these are 2012 5.3 rockers, this bearing end cap is the same as the earlier pieces, which can and will fall out and spill the needles.- PolarBear

Prime example of why its imperative to chase the head bolt holes and blow them out with compressed air when replacing heads / gaskets / head bolts on an LS. Exhibit A.) Someone replaced just the passenger side head, ram rodded the head bolts into coolant filled holes. Boom! Cracked liner on #4...- PolarBear

Today's deal of the day, via Facebook Marketplace: A running LC9 5.3 for $240, even came with the LS3 style coils. Plan is to rob the 799 heads for the 6.0 I'm going to build with a mild cam for the 03 GMC. Coils are being used on the LS6.- PolarBear
