Ecm delete f to keep abs
I don't have an answer to that question. I hate abs with a passion so I would be happy to lose it lol. I don't know why everyone that does an ls swap wants an aftermarket computer. An 0411 or p59 can be tuned with a $100 or under dongle and free software. The aftermarket computers leave **** on...- Moofus02

93 ext cab short box engine swap
That shouldn't be a problem. 2 piece flywheel, spread bore intake with tbi adapter i would use ebl elb ? Flash. You have the good trans and it is a stick so you don't need trans control and you can tune to your hearts content with that system. I would put a vortec pump on your sending unit ep381...- Moofus02

Time to replace stock exhaust on 97 K1500 Z71
On my 99 suburban I used the h pipe listed and a cat back system like the one shown but with a 2 in 2 out muffler. Sounds good had a rap to it but isn't too loud and doesn't drone. At the price now days I would have an exhaust shop so it. I had less in the entire system than the car back kit... -

You could also use elb flash with a tbi setup but it doesn't quite self tune like the sniper- Moofus02

The 350 will bolt right to your 4.3l transmission. I believe you will need the v8 mounts but I'm not sure- Moofus02

Am I underpowered?
Turbo an 8.8. When gm sold them to psi they stuck them in trucks and school busses. I believe they had forged cranks and pistons. I can find good core takeout that got replaced with a new crate motor cheeper than I can buy the parts to stroke an 8.1- Moofus02

Another 454 Vortec Build Thread - Documenting, Q&A, Help
I like a seat belt buzzer. Put it between the positive and the battery cable. If there is a drain it will buzz. With everything shut off hook it up. If it buzzes pull fuses until you find the circuit that is causing the issue. Leave that fuse out and replace the rest one at a time. If it buzzes...- Moofus02

I need mental help!!! What should I do?
I vote for a383 create motor and elb flash so you can tune it yourself to run to full potential. The 383 should have a ton of torque and be a fun ride. Nothing wrong with the ls but they lack torque down low. Fun in a toy with a loose converter but a pain for a driver. 383 and elb flash would be...- Moofus02

Brake lines
It's a portable air hoist. It's the second one I've had from old garages. The first would grab the bumper this one will reach under and lift from the axle or front suspension. It will only pick up one end but it lifts high enough to be able to work and do exhaust etc- Moofus02

Brake lines
Got the lines fixed and front brakes blead need to do the rear but it's got front brakes now. Fixed the coolant leaks replaced all the spring clamps. Got it off the hoist and fired up. I can hear a plug wire snapping, it's all wet under the hood from the rain. Wires should be fun the distributor...- Moofus02
