X2. My dad's '90 and '93 standard cabs both had them installed in this location as well.
His were wired into the horn circuit, he could switch the ringer to honk the horn if he was out of the truck so he could hear it on job sites. He forgot to turn that feature off after work one day and went to a buddy's house... Phone rings, horn starts honking, dad walks outside to see his truck shaking up and down. Buddy's giant Rottweiler apparently didn't like the phantom horn honking and decided to maul the rear passenger mud flap.
Pretty sure that mud flap still had teeth marks in it when he sold the truck, he never changed it out.
