Hey all, long time lurker, rare poster here. Bose Subwoofer/Amp wiring questions. Hey all, I am more than confused on how to make a factory Bose amp and sub work in a non Bose stereo GMT400. I have a 1998 GMC K2500 Suburban and got this complete 99-00 Escalade console from an Escalade I was parting out and I would really like to make the factory Bose sub/amp work in my non Bose suburban. I tried tapping into the orange and black wires coming off the amp to my switched 12v on the radio harness and ground, which seemed to power on the amp but I have no power at the sub which makes no sense. In the wiring diagrams I looked at on ProDemand I found that the sub is wired straight to the amp, so if I powered on the amp wouldn’t that make the sub work? Right? I looked at several wiring diagrams and that confused me even further. Hoping someone else has done this swap and can point me in the right direction. Any help is appreciated!

You swapped only the console?
There has to be an incoming audio signal for the amp to play music.
If you did supply audio signal, what did you use?

The sub is powered by the amp, sub will not have power without an audio signal. Situation normal until you provide an audio signal to the amp.
