Call me crazy but that's a 6 on the dizzy. Also not seeing a painted line to line this thing up. Cause for concern?

The painted line is on the distributor shaft. The dimple they are talking about in there is on the side of the distributor gear.

The 8 is on the metal piece under the rotor. Here's a decent video that shows the proper alignment and the marks you are talking about. You can fast forward to ~2:00 if you don't want to hear the preamble stuff.
