98 Chevy Silverado bench seat swap please help

I have a 98 Silverado single cab with Bench seat I am looking to convert to a 60 40 split seat Or a bench seat with a armrest what is the best and easiest way to go up on it thanks again I hope you guys can help me

Bench seat with armrest is easiest to find one that is a direct bolt-up in a regular cab and to find one in good shape - rear seat from crew cab trucks. Don't get used very often and the 95-98 design often has a fold-down armrest similar in appearance to the front seat console.

Split bench is trickier since most of them were in extended cabs and the brackets won't fit your regular cab floor profile without some hacking. It's totally do-able, just takes a little work; manual seat is easier than power as the power bracket doesn't have as much room to cut.
