    Just to let you know I found out the problem and it had nothing to do with the radiator cap. They broke the vacuum line between the tbi and the pcv valve. For some reason they were throttling it up when they put the cap on causing it to die because of the vacuum leak. We tested the radiator...

    Sounds dumb but can you put a thermostat backwards in these trucks? Or could the water pump be going backwards somehow?

    Had a shop change the water pump,both hoses and the thermostat on my son's truck and now they are saying every time they put the radiator cap on with it running it kills the truck and it won't restart until you take the cap off again. I'm lost. Any ideas.
