Front driveshaft removal

Got it out. Had to take off the driver side exhaust manifold flange nuts to lower the exhaust pipe. It has to be some custom exhaust on there from a PO. There wasn't ***** for clearance until I was able to move the exhaust down 3/4-1"

Front driveshaft removal

I feel like I've tried rotating the driveshaft and diff yoke in all different ways to gain clearance. I'm wondering if my exhaust isn't stock and is making it where I can't drop the driveshaft enough Regardless, is it supposed to come out fairly easy?

Front driveshaft removal

I have a 99 K2500 suburban with the slip yoke at the transfer cast on the front driveshaft. I can't for the life of me see how to get enough room under there to slide it out?? What's the trick here? I take the straps of the front diff, pop that part out and then it just gets stuck every time...
