    Thanks for the reply!! So I took a soft wire brush to the terminals both male and female. I then plugged and unplugged the termal sever times to clean off those pins and port holes.     Help i fried my ECM!!! California 1982 CJ7 with a 1989 SBC 5.7 TBI mounted to a 700r4 tranny

    So I have been chasing down a code 42 and no luck, until maybe today when I decided to remove the ac unit and dig under the dash and pull out the ECM. I think it looks burnt at one of the pin connections (see pic). I am wondering what ECM I can use to replace it with. I need to get it smogged...
