    Original rims on 454ss need what type of lug nuts?

    Going to go back to the original rims that came on my 90 454ss but I don't know what type of lug nuts to get. I know that the are M14 1.5 and about 2 inches long. However, what i'm looking for is the seat style? Is it standard acorn or ball seat? Thanks everyone.

    So, Rock Auto does not show this strap / bracket for my truck. Where can someone suggest to find one other than a local wrecker? This is the front supoort bracket for a 34 Gal tank. Pic attached.

    So, it turns out that my fuel pump is not providing the appropriate fuel pressure. Hooked up a remote fuel source with the appropriate pressure and truck idles AND roars.

    Hi Richard I'm going through the truck right now just to make sure all parts are working. I understand that the EGR solenoid would not impact the operational status. Currently, the truck starts and runs only when i'm actively feathering the throttle. If I let off, it runs for a second or two...

    Looking for some guidance. I need to bench test an EGR solenoid. I can't do it in the truck as it's not running at the moment. Don't want to dump $$ if the one I have is fine. I simply want to rule it in or out. What is the procedure to test it? Thank you.

    Thank you sir. That corroborates a friends opinion. I'm not going to worry about it for now. I don't live in an area that it matters. I'm methodically going through all the portions. Tested the TPM, it's good. Going to replace the Idle Air Controller because I suspect it's not operating...

    Thanks so much Richard. I'm wondering if it would be the same part as the 93. I can find the ACDelco 217-2900 which looks identical to the one I have. However this part is listed for trucks 93 and newer. Does anyone know what the difference is with the TBI between those years?
