If you don’t have one of no spill radiator funnel things I recommend getting one lol. Got my coolant issue fixed. Now has a 195* thermostat in it. Seems to be working good after I finally got the system all burped up. Goes to about 225* then goes back to 195*. Not sure if the gauge is slow or...- OBSOkie

Bleh. Turns out the 160 degree thermostat was a non existent thermostat lol. Put a 195 in it and ended up having to add a lot of water as it overheated on my test drive. I’ll finish burping it tonight and hope that problem is solved. Still chasing the “misfire”. Seems more pronounced on a cold...- OBSOkie

Bleh still tracking this down lol. Took all the plug wires off and tested them, had nothing above 7.5k for resistance, wiggled them around and was still good.- OBSOkie

Did some more investigating tonight and redid my measurements. So Im 16.5” in front and 15” in the rear from center of hub to lip of fenderwell. Also from looking at how the spindles look decently and my coils look stock, im curious if the drop ended up like a 2/6 lol. I dont know much about...- OBSOkie

Misfire?
1989, 5.7/700r4 Stock except for exhaust as far as I know. Looks like it just had a tune up but cant say for sure. Has what appears to be a new rotoe cap and plug wires. Runs fine but just get this kind of popping noise at idle. Thoughts? Dark because I just had down by my exhaust.- OBSOkie

Tonight got some new headlight housings to replace a yellowing one. Looks way better. One that sucks is tearing into stuff discovering what the PO decided to take shortcuts on. Bleh. Repaired my drivers door hinge pins and bushings. So much nicer not having to slam my door. Wasnt too bad. Went with dorman pins and Cunningham Machine bushings. Heres my bushing install tool lol.- OBSOkie

Plans right now are just get it caught up on maintenance and do a c notch on it. Def needs a front end rebuild, and plan to do a drain/fill on the trans. Theres a few interior parts broken like the glove box and ash tray so Ill get that fixed.- OBSOkie
