Painting some interior pieces I got. If you have red the SEM 15063 Bergundy is close. Heres a glove box door I did. Used Dupli Color adhesion promoter.
Bleh. Turns out the 160 degree thermostat was a non existent thermostat lol. Put a 195 in it and ended up having to add a lot of water as it overheated on my test drive. I’ll finish burping it tonight and hope that problem is solved.

Bleh still tracking this down lol. Took all the plug wires off and tested them, had nothing above 7.5k for resistance, wiggled them around and was still good.

Looks like it just had a tune up but cant say for sure. Has what appears to be a new rotoe cap and plug wires. Runs fine but just get this kind of popping noise at idle. Thoughts?

Repaired my drivers door hinge pins and bushings. So much nicer not having to slam my door. Wasnt too bad. Went with dorman pins and Cunningham Machine bushings. Heres my bushing install tool lol.

Whats the measurement from center of hubs to the fenders? Trying to figure out what my drop actually is.
Yeah I don’t know why I didn’t check but I was just excited to find one rust free with a good title.
And yeah I def plan on doing it right. Plan on keeping it awhile so hopefully it don’t fold up lol.
Plans right now are just get it caught up on maintenance and do a c notch on it. Def needs a front end rebuild, and plan to do a drain/fill on the trans. Theres a few interior parts broken like the glove box and ash tray so Ill get that fixed.
New here from OKC.
Just picked up my first GMT400. Found a pretty straight and rust free with clean title ‘89 short wide. Pretty much all stock except for a 4/6 drop. Just looking to learn and hang out.
