100% derailed. My mom came by and her car was pouring oil out of a few places.. sparkplug tubes were full of oil also (overhead cam motor). Hopefully wrapped up this weekend.- Cheezebandit

Lets try something new.. I am going to attempt to align the truck myself. I'd like to drive it, see if the height is actually good without rubbing scraping on everything. I know enough to be dangerous. The previous owner has messed with it so much, the choke on it for instance was adjusted to the point that the choke flap only closed like 10 degrees. The entire Fuel system is temporary. This Fuel pump is barely enough anyway. I plan to relocate the fuel tank and swap this 383 to Fuel injection probably next year. I believe the factory fuel line used to run along the firewall? I don't know for sure honestly. There was a bracket right after the filter that kicked the lines pretty close to the header collector. The issue was with the old NV3500 was being broken LOL I broke the synchros from shifting too fast for the power it was making. that trans was really intended for the 5.0L making 180 HP not a 383 making (hopefully) 450 ish. OBS chevy racing offers an adapter they call a 315 Adaptor. allows a 17-18 inch Zr1 or 10-11 wide wheel to fit with a 285-315 on all four corners. Classy is very kind .. I absolutely mangled the factory brake line clamps. There is a mounting tab on the new a arm to accommodate the factory clamp. I just goobered mine. Maybe someone makes a replacement clamp, not sure I guess I'll look into that.- Cheezebandit

They are heim joints on the bottom and the top has a fully threaded bolt and some jam nuts. The bolt can be backed out 2-3 inches. It's currently threaded in all the way. We're still rolling... New pads, calipers, and steel braided brake lines. I have most of the linkage tight, cotter pins in place.
