The Dr side one has multiple cracks an chunk broken off but still a decent workable base if I ever need a replacement. That's the worst of the damage on the pair though.
Before anyone says it, yes I'm aware my truck has the short Dr side fender. I can always make the longer one fit if/when I...
Yesterday I noticed a 94 3500 on the local lkq site. It had been out there 6 days but I figured I had to go look an see if I could get lucky an I did!
About 3 hrs of my time total and $172. They aren't perfect by any means but just having a spare set is worth way more than that. I got all...
I had a few issues with the front seats an those floor vents. I had to remove both vent "covers" at the ends and on the pass side I had to cut a significant portion of it out. I had planned on removing it anyway so no big deal.
Whoever put the buckets in this truck did a number on the floor. I...
I always take that quick connect/restrictor out in favor of a standard barb. Never noticed any issues from that except it doesn't leak anymore or break off in the manifold.
These work well to get it started, then you can hammer on it.

The machines can be setup to read different ways. You can adjust the heads on the machines to get a different reading an not actually touch an adjustment on the car. You also cant really compare across two different machines, that might even be two different brands. All you can really go off of...
Looks too me like they only did toe too. Caster looked better before they touched it as far as being even. Again, not horrible but could still be better.
People haul @ss like the cops are after them in the parking lot here. There's so many lifted trucks an giant suvs that if you don't back in you can't see if someone is barreling down the isle before you back out. I started doing it when I had a lease car an then the charger an it's just stuck...
No it doesn't if you don't do more than 1 coil. Lots of people trim the springs with no issues.
Heating it is what really alters it an makes the ride bad.
Also 1" drop springs will generally raise the truck up when replacing 20+ y/o factory springs.
Looking closer at this an the "after" measurements, do you like how the truck currently drives? I imagine it probably has a slight pull though. I don't remember seeing but did you remove the knockouts from the upper arms?
On a lowered truck you can throw the stock alignment specs out the window...
Daily driving it this weekend, brakes still doing good, ride doesn't seem to have changed with the helpers, seats are awesome, ac is working in typical gmt400 fashion of keep it on max all the time lol.
Toe an go is all most places want to do anymore. Most new cars are only adjustable on toe from the factory. I finally found a shop again that will take the time an do it right bit it runs $140 an he's almost an hour away. Worth it though for getting what you want/pay for.
Parking brake is also based off the inital setup of the shoes though, so if they are too far out adjusting the PB cable won't really help regular pedal feel. Setting my shoes tighter helped pedal feel an made the parking brake better since they were farther out already.
I think it was another...
My guess is they were just to far out to work properly? I set them up mostly how the manual said but I probably didn't run them out far enough to start with to center them an then back off. I haven't driven it yet but I did back up a bunch trying to get them to adjust last week. All that is new...
I'm going to like this I think....
AC charged up an working good. Gotta finish up these seats an I can take it for a drive, probably wait till tomorrow when it's not raining...
800s have a proportion valve before the abs unit under the master with some nice braided stainless lines to it. I'd grab all that from your donor too. Ditch the abs all together an enjoy....
