    The EVAP sensor is held in with a barbed o-ring just like the MAP sensor on a 350, it's good to go. 2500/3500 trucks didn't use that sensor so your truck won't have the wiring for it. That's a 1 size fits all sending unit.

    Is the sending unit crusty? If not, there's zero reason to change it. You'll want a stock AC Delco pump, a 340 is insane overkill for a stock motor.     I added a 2nd upper overload to my stock dually pack. I also think fondly of a GMT800 pack that came that way factory. Of course they do, probably do OK on a half ton. But I doubt the shocks do as well as a Bilstein.

    Well odds are whatever disc brake kit you're considering is trash, so I'd recommend fixing what you have instead. Properly serviced drum brakes last quite a while. You've got the big 13" drums, they'll lock before the fronts do when everything's set up correctly.

    That's a good point, swap out the dash and now it's 100% plug and play. Swap the door panels too and it'll match, unless the interiors are different colors.
