    Truck Studdering

Hi all, Lately my truck has been studdering around 55-60mph. It gets up to speed no problem, but then feels like it skipped a gear tooth and studders. Its a really odd feeling and I was wondering if anyone can help diagnose this. Along side of doing that, it also has a random misfire...

    Help needed ASAP

Yea it was a problem in the lever. I got it on Thursday and put it in right away and everything worked just fine. I will have to visit a GM dealership and see if they will get me a new one so I have another one on hand.

    14 Bolt SF for $75

I can get a 14 Bolt SF for $75 at a local junkyard. I know that I will most likely have to change the U-Joint, but other than that will it bolt right up to a '97 Chevy half ton? Will the leaf springs and shock mounts be the same? I have tried searching and never found a definite yes or no...

    Help needed ASAP

Nope, I discounted the KC lights and they arent spliced into any OEM wires. I have a feeling it is something to do with the turn signal lever. when i move the 4 way switch around it messes with how the turn signals work. I suppose I will find out when i get a new lever

    Help needed ASAP

So I was working on wiring in my KC lights today and after getting it all done and go and back and connect the battery, I ran into a lot of electrical issues. 1. My taillights are always on when the battery is connected. 2. When trying to use the right blinker with the turn signal lever, it...

    4L60E for $100

What if I want to keep the rebuild under $500? Still worth it to get the 4L60E and rebuild/ shift kit it? Or just get the 4L80E. I don't wanna drop $800 into a 4L60E when I can spend $500 and get the same reliability outta a 4L80E. I suppose that is why people tend to go with the 4L80E because...

    4L60E for $100

Well from the looks of it, it would cost around $350 to buy, rebuild and put a shift kit with Corvette Servo in the 4L60E, and a 4L80E will cost around $500 rebuilt or with low miles. What is so bad about the 4L60E that people shy away from it? Is it anything a rebuilt/ shift kit would fix? And...

    4L60E for $100

http://up.craigslist.org/pts/2437652466.html So my truck has 273,000 miles on the original transmission (4L60E). I was thinking about buying this one and working on it and getting it ready until mine goes. So here is my question? I will do some light offroading and pull a trailer every now...

    '97 Chevy Silverado Build Starting

Not too impressed with the 10 series yet, but it is a stainless steel muffler and was only like $50. It is also a race type muffler, so I am thinking without the cats it will sound better. And I have been trying to figure out what to mount to the headache rack. A jack would look pretty nice. As...
