LS Swap TBI Bracket, A/C Hose Question

Ok you can hand rebend the aluminum line to get the kink out, I have done this several times before, just do it slowly and carefully. Bend the aluminum part so that it is closer to the compressor and bracket then the rubber line will have a much smoother radius and shouldn't be kinked anymore.

    Routing for front airride airline.

The stock frame rail on a 2wd GMT 400 is a super easy run, pretty much nothing in the way.

    Routing for front airride airline.

I use a swivel 90 and run my airline inside the frame rail, can not be seen at all and it is protected from heat, I would never drill another hole and run the airline up into the engine compartment, but that's just me.

How to: NBS master cylinder swap for firm brake pedal

How to: NBS master cylinder swap for firm brake pedal

For gmt 400 with Hydroboost you either run a stock 88-98 Hydro. M.C., or you can bore out the inside of the hydro unit to accept the NBS Hydroboost M.C. I have done both, I have the NBS Hydro. M.C. on my personal truck, I used a M.C. from an 04 tahoe with hydroboost, then I bored out my...

    1999 Suburban LS Swap

No the 06 harness and ecm can be used to run the 4l60e, with some wiring mods, but I would strongly suggest that you stay with the 4L80E, it will last much better behind the 6.0 than that 4L60E ever will.

Ls swap into a 96-98 obs

Same with my DD Tahoe with a 5.3, has 250K miles runs great! I have also driven numerous TBI trucks to hundreds of thousands of miles with no issue, but not a vortec.

Ls swap into a 96-98 obs

Sounds like every vortec 305 or 350 I have owned, every one of them has gone to crap in short order, I will not own another one, been burned too many times.
