Getting closer!

Did you fabricate the dual condenser setup? I would probably use the rear condenser for the rear ac and the front unit for the front as the rear unit will have less BTU load.

You've got two screws loose on the trans cooler...

... which you've probably fixed by now.

Check that trans cooler. I wouldn't allow it to touch the condenser under any circumstances, but that's just me.

Thanks @1998_K1500_Sub I took that pic in the middle of assembly. It's all tightened down and no rubbing. Also screwed the Condensor hoses into the support bracket as well.

@L31MaxExpress that's how it is set up currently, hopefully it isn't too heat soaked sitting in the middle.

Need to charge and test the dinosaur delay relay next weekend

Dinosaur relay appears to be working as intended for compressor staging. Wired it temporarily for testing, now to make it look nice. Local store out of 152 so it's on order to charge and then road test!

Other than that, a nice fitting belt is in and the front system is up and running well. Changed from a smooth idler to one with a lip below the #2 compressor as a precaution for the long belt run, I saw the belt wobble a bit a few times so figured better safe than sorry.

Iteration 2 of the bracket just got finished up. Added a tensioner to combat belt slip.

It works, finally. Tested on a 110° day, blocked off the rad and got rear head pressures to 415 psi and no slip. I have a 400 psi HPCO in the mail.

Video of it running

Frost on the front evaporator outlet at idle, 97° 28% RH.

Rear just as good. Ice box!

You have a side of beef to go with that chill? Thing must feel like you could hang meat in it.

I saw the video clip and it is funny how the camera refresh rate makes the inboard compressor appear to turn backwards.

The crazy part too is that with the variable displacement function the twin V7s probably require less power than the R4 did at highway speeds. With the dual condensers I am sure the high side pressures are noticeably lower than a single condenser as well.

I'll be watching this with interest because I also have an AC system that is functioning better than yours but which is still inadequate. It should blow 40 degree air going down the highway even in 100 degree outside temperatures. Mine did that before the compressor seal failed. Since replacing it, it will only hit about 65 at idle and 55 on the highway. Pressures are good, charge is correct, condenser is clear, so there's obviously at least one additional problem yet to be identified. Hope you get your problem sorted out.
Do you have a one wire cable to plug into the high pressure switch the back of your compressor? I ask because i was experiencing very similar numbers on my truck after i replaced my compressor and left the one wire connector off - no switch neither. This caused the mix doors on my truck to mix warm 100 degree south fl air into the ac. This prevented max cooling. If you dont have a recirc button and a 1 wire switch for the compressor, try grounding that cable and give it like 30 seconds and take it for a ride, made a huge difference to me. Went from 65 to 40 degs.
