I got a 1992 k1500 and my climate control screen will randomly shut off and loose all functionality, i have to kick the bottom of the dashboard a couple times to get it to kick on and sometimes ill hit a small bump or something on the road and it'll shut off. Any ideas what it could be?

Recheck connections, connectors fully seated. Loose pin connection. After that it's inside problem.

Remove the A/C controls and spray some DeOxit contact cleaner on the connector fingers and in the harness socket. You might get lucky and that's all it needs. If it continues to be flaky, it's possible some solder joints inside the controls have gone bad and need touching up. There's also an internal connector inside the controls that might need a shot of DeOxit as well, but I'd hold off taking it apart until it insists upon it..
