I have a 92 suburban with a 350 motor 5.7 l and I want to put it in a 92 suburban TBI system can I make this work what do I have to do without getting carried away

https://www.gmt400.com/threads/how-to-put-a-vo sorry about that I should have been more clear I need to be able to make a 99 engine work in a 92 but I need the top end of the 92 as far as intake for smog purposes and everything is it possible

if you are going to use the vortec heads you need one of these expensive but it the only direct tbi to vortec head intake if you use your tbi heads you can use your stock intake another option is to get a carb vortec intake that has egr on it a get a adapter from carb to tbi

So I can bolt the TBI heads right on the block the 99 block and use the manifold and everything will be okay it'll fit right won't be too much trouble to do it

Yup. Ish. I cover the differences in that thread. We're referring you to that thread because we can't remember all the details and it's not worth the time to retype it all here.

Off the top of my head, your coolant bypass in the '99 block might not be drilled, but that's fairly easy to do yourself.
