Hello i have a 1994 Chevrolet C2500 and im looking to put a levelling kit on it. Ive heard that you are supposed to put different upper control arms. (Correct me if im wrong) but ive searched and searched and cant find anything for my truck. Are the control arms that same as a C1500 or K1500-K2500. Any help is appreciated.

2500 is divided into 2 parts: 7200 GVW is more like the 1500s, 8600 GVW is more like the 3500s.
So I'll ask, 6 lug 2500 (2wd) or 8 lug?

I have a lifted 2wd C2500 8 lugger. 4.5 inch knuckles and 315/75s. Mine retained the OE upper & lower A-Arms.
I'm not familiar with a 2wd leveling kit as the front uses coil springs. Can you enlighten me what gets installed? Coil spring boosters?

Not a GM vehicle, but... I did use a set of 2" spring boosters on my (farm use) '98 F1SO and it didn't require any other FE parts. Does that help?

You shouldn’t have to swap any other parts other than adding a lift coil spring or a coil spring spacer. None of the 4x4 parts are needed or wanted. You should be able to get a 2” lift with a coil spring swap and get a shop to align it properly without an issue. If you want more that 2” of lift then look at a knuckle lift kit which moves the wheel mounting surface down without changing the suspension mounting points.

Something like this should work depending on if it a 8 lug or not. You would also want longer shocks or a shock extension kit.

Ya its a 8 Lug are the shocks easy to find for these trucks?

Yes there are a million options for shocks. What I’ve done in the past is measure the factory shocks extended and fully compressed measurements and then contact a reputable shock manufacturer to find a part number for a 2” longer shock with the same travel. Once you have the part number needed you can order it from various places. I did this with fox shocks on a 7” lift and they provided the perfect shock for my oddball application.

Will the coil spring spacer work with the stock suspension or do i have to go with the spindle lift?

Normally you would use either the spindle lift swap or the taller springs or spacers but not both. The taller springs or spring spacers leave everything else the same except lifted a few inches, no other changes except getting an alignment as well as longer shocks or shock extensions.
