Looks like I got it right by adding one to mine, thenIn the later years 400/ obs GM installed the aux fan to improve condenser effectiveness, with AC on, or activated by high temp switch in head rt. Head.

If the picture loads up ok, here it is rescuing a Mitsubishi Pajero in the desert. The Tahoe is great off-road - plenty of power (5.7L Vortec), small lift (about 2") and a perfect length wheelbase (in my opinion). It acquits itself very well indeed.Question is there alot of OBSs in Abu Dhabi and how in the world did you find one out there ? Lol
GM put out a TSB on the earlier GMT800s to retrofit the GMT400 fan to them as well for poor ac cooling at idle. An electric pusher on the condenser is a common user add on for the Express vans too for all year models of them. It definitely helps at idle and slower speeds. In the later years 400/ obs GM installed the aux fan to improve condenser effectiveness, with AC on, or activated by high temp switch in head rt. Head.

Apologies to the OP for the thread hijack
B&M does not make those coolers. They buy them from the same manufacturer that makes the True Cool M7B like I have.My 86 K3500 dually had a heavy duty tow option. And an extra transmission cooler with it's own fan. Later when going through the B&M catalog I think I know where GM sourced the cooler. You must be registered for see images attach

Hello, any idea what year model of gmt400 gm began offering a condenser fan ? My 96 burb doesn’t have one, but I plan to add one. However, I’d like to get another gmt400 and preferably with the factory e fan. ThanksIn the later years 400/ obs GM installed the aux fan to improve condenser effectiveness, with AC on, or activated by high temp switch in head rt. Head.
