Hi, I have a 1990 454 SS truck with TH400 tranny, edelbrock 2162 cam, edelbrock TBI intake, March power pulleys, MSD coil, spark plugs wire, distributor and edelbrock shorty headers with borla muffler...
My question is I would like to get a better launch with changing my stock torque converter, most of the people on forums say, that the BM20412 holeshot would be a great replacement one to increase the launch, but will it affect the general cruising speed ??? yes my rear pinion is 3.73 with 28.5 tall tires...
I will soon receive my torque converter ordered from summit, is anybody has tried this converter on his stock TH400 with great results ???????
